Chase off winter blues by getting out and enjoying some bright colors, and experiencing something new. Hot air balloons make colorful and interesting subject and the Hudson Hot Air Affair is a really fun event. So grab those layers, a wide angle lens, a zoom lens (something like a 70-200), a fish eye and lets go get creative and meet some new friends! We will meet at 2:45 at the announcement booth on the school grounds. E.P. Rock school grounds, 340 13th Street South. Hudson, WI. We will stay for the launch, though if it is windy or conditions aren’t right for flight they may not go up. Then we’ll go warm up with some dinner (on your own or with the group) and head back to the field for the field of fire or moon glow. Hot air balloons light up the dark Moon Glow becomes a Field of Fire. This event is free to attend (with the exception of dinner).

Join Inspire Photo Tours for a fun evening of viewing and photographing the sandhill cranes. Crex Meadows is an important fall migration stop for these beautiful birds, giving us the opportunity to observe and photograph them. Meet at the visitor center before heading out to the viewing locations within the wildlife area.
